These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FreeFrame, a collaborative media review platform operated by Techiebutler ("we", "us", or "our") at freeframe.io. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FreeFrame, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and that you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using FreeFrame on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To use FreeFrame, you must create an account using a valid email address or Google OAuth. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete registration information.
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use FreeFrame to:

  • Upload, store, or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or any other harmful software.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks connected to FreeFrame.
  • Use the service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to FreeFrame without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice.

4. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain full ownership of all media files, comments, annotations, and other content you upload to FreeFrame. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, transcode, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the FreeFrame service to you and your collaborators.

Our platform: FreeFrame's software, design, branding, and documentation are the intellectual property of Techiebutler. The open-source components of FreeFrame are licensed under the MIT License.

5. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of FreeFrame, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice.
  • Experience unplanned downtime due to infrastructure issues, security incidents, or force majeure events.
  • Modify, update, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.

6. Free Trial & Plan Limitations

FreeFrame offers a free trial with the following limitations:

  • Up to 3 workspace members.
  • Up to 5 GB of total storage.

These limits may change at our discretion. We will notify active users before reducing limits on existing accounts. Exceeding plan limits may result in restricted functionality until you upgrade or reduce usage.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination:

  • Your access to FreeFrame will be immediately revoked.
  • Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Media files in organizations you own will be deleted unless transferred to another owner.

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.

8. Disclaimers

FreeFrame is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • Warranties that the service will meet your requirements or expectations.
  • Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Techiebutler and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
  • Cost of procurement of substitute services.
  • Any damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Techiebutler is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of FreeFrame shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of FreeFrame after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
